Two things nobody tells you

The quota never changes. 2 on Normal, 6 on Hard, 12 on Expert — whatever the battle, whatever the set. Checked across all 8 of them.

Expert wants you to lose. Its mono-type mission picks the type your opponent resists — 36 battles out of 42. The exceptions are Colorless and Dragon, which nothing is weak to.
